With AnTuTu and Geekbench, the scores were quite similar if not the performance, but we have taken it to the Slingshot Extreme, we found a significant difference i.e the Helio P70 scored an average of 1,000, while Snapdragon 660 marked 1300. While on the Geekbench, the P70 scores around 1540 on a single core and 5970 on multi-core, whereas the Snapdragon 660 scored around 1640 on a single core and 5900 on multi-core. the chipset scores around 140-145K on AnTuTu benchmark, which is higher than the Snapdragon 660 which landed on 141K. In benchmarks, the Helio 70 just crushes Snapdragon 660.

Although, the Snapdragon 660 is ahead in the clock speed game, but the Helio P70 is a 12nm processor compared to the 14nm Snapdragon 660, which let alone improves P70’s efficiency, but then again it all boils down to the software optimization, which subjective with each OEMs. The P70 is octa-core CPU is clocked at up to 2.1GHz, while, the Snapdragon 660 is clocked at 2.2GHz. So, the cores on both the chipset are same, but not the clock speed. The MediaTek Helio P70 has four Cortex-A73 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores, whereas the Snapdragon 660 has 8x Kryo 260 CPU (which is semi-custom Cortex-A73 cores and four semi-custom Cortex-A53 cores).
