That's less faint praise than it may sound. To dwell too much on his previous achievements, however dubious they may be to anyone over age 11, is to do a disservice to the highly credible work he's doing now. But I'm going to do Bleu the favor of not referring - at least any more directly than that - to the particular Disney phenomenon that's led him to the star in In the Heights, which is still playing at the Richard Rodgers. The easiest jokes to be made about Corbin Bleu, the latest resident of a certain above-96th-Street musical ensconced within the Broadway environs, would involve the words "Heights School Musical" or "Heights Cool Musical" or words along those lines.
